To Worship is to Leave a Legacy ~ By Mary Jean Powers

   

It is an honor to share, below, this excerpt from a new book released by a dear mentor and friend. As I began to take the plunge, I made it all the way to page 11…reading and rereading THAT page, as my heart resonated with the message of Truth. I immediatley reached out to ask for permission to share it with you all. I have a sense that as you read this word from Mary Jean Powers (yes…page 11!), that your heart will also be captured by Holy One.

A life of worship...of beholding our God, learning of Him, seeing Him, hearing Him, honoring Him, revering Him, pursuing to KNOW Him, seeking out His mysteries, encountering Him, experiencing Him, following Him, abandoned to Him, LOVING HIM...should ALWAYS translate to the tangible expression of Him in our every day and in every way. As one of my intentional friends, Kala Tate would say, "It looks like something." The Reality that He IS, passed on from generation to generation, and from nation to nation. 

PURSUIT...

Creator of all things, You have put a longing in our hearts. We sense the holy tugging of Your heart and Your desires that You have woven within our DNA.

                                                                                          The holy pursuit of You and Your ways are tangible among us. To pursue Your heart and what You are leading us into this year. We have felt the shift, yet again, that leads us out of the familiar and into Your design. Into Your purposes. Into New places of revelation, saturation, transformation, activation, and holy Habitation.

In the Shelter of His Wing, 
He covers you with His Pinions. 
His Presence surrounds you as you tuck in, 
as you settle into this knowing 

that you are His.

The Atmosphere of RE

The word that I share today as we get ready to step into 2026, is actually a word that came with an experience that took place near the beginning of this year of 2025. Even though I shared this word with several after Holy One gave it, I had no intention of posting it on the blog, until now...  

For what was birthed at the beginning of this year, has now unfolded and manifested in ways that have left me in awe of the faithful and loving weaving of our Majesty.

I have witnessed the explosive REturning of hearts to our God and our King. An awakening as hearts are REmembering…REignited by His Flame to burn with holy purpose. A REvolution. A REvival. A REstoration of Relationships, marriages, and families. A divine REset and REordering…a REframing of mindsets, a REbuilding of lives.

For so many, these miracles sprouted and came to fullness out of such heart ache and brokenness. At the crossroads of decision. In the challenge of complete surrender. Finding new places in trust. Discovering a new awareness of Him.

I am undone by Your goodness, Oh God….

When He Comes...

A holy hush had filled the room. The atmosphere was weighty and our hearts were captive in silence as Majesty, the King of Glory, entered among us.                                          

His Presence, His Majesty, had come to be with us.          Holy, Holy, Holy…Such a holiness and glory that one has no desire to move or speak, where even breathing becomes still.

MOVEMENT MAJESTY 2023

My husband and I, with intention of purpose, made plans to usher in the year 2023 with our son and his family. As we were preparing ourselves for the trip the morning of December 31^st, I heard the word “Sonship” in my spirit and began leaning in to hear what Holy Spirit wanted me to know.

 

Divine Alignment in Covenant with You

Today is a day of redemption. A day of taking that which was lost or stolen or seemingly destroyed, and bringing order out of chaos that was meant to rob, abort, or dismantle the Creator’s design for our lives and His purposes through us.
