The first time I heard Sam speak this word just a few months ago, I sensed that it was a call and an exhortation for the Lord’s beloved to step beyond fears, self, or anything that would try to hold us back from entering the fullness of His design for us.
One of the markers that has been highlighted to me concerning 2022, is that it will be a year of unprecedented covenant, saturated with opportunities (and not all of them easy) to go deeper in places of transparency, vulnerability, and trust…enabling us to grow into the fullness of Love Himself. Where no stone is left unturned and there is nothing hidden still lurking, the path forward is unhindered and lined with endless possibilities.
We have come into an intimate experience with God’s love, and we trust in the love He has for us. God is love! Those who are living in love are living in God, and God lives through them. By living in God, love has been brought to its full expression in us so that we may fearlessly face the day of judgment, because all that Jesus now is, so are we in this world. (1 John 4:16-17 TPT)
Go through,
Go through the gates!
Prepare the way for the people;
Build up,
Build up the highway!
Take out the stones,
Lift up a banner for the peoples!
We take the next step,

ONE STEP, NEXT STEP
Such a cloak and a weight of despair, bitterness and discouragement that has been knocking on the door of my heart – so familiar and so despised. Self-focus, self-hate, self period!
BUT YOU, LORD……
Always an invitation, a beckoning to enter in – to Your joy, strength, peace and purpose. Where am I going? I don’t know. How do I get there? I don’t know. What is my posture? Look up. Look out. Give thanks. Delight in You, Lord. Seeds scattered. Seeds sown. Fertile ground. Purity. Innocence. Trust.
Small fruit. Large fruit. Does it matter? Just go – in this your strength. I AM goes before. I AM gives you strength. Look up and SEE. I AM is enough. Direction? Feast on Truth. Write from the heart.
ONE STEP. NEXT STEP.
Single heart. Sharp focus. Give thanks. Believe. Trust. Lean in, not away. No shame. Bitterness? No room. Give thanks. Worship. Lean in.
ONE STEP. NEXT STEP.
God is GOOD! No shortage. No lack. Give all. Extravagant. His time is my time. My time is His time. Not too late – for such a time.
Strengthen the pegs! Take them down deep. Strong roots. No shifting. Build, build, build!
Lengthen the cords. Give. Invite. Pour out.
Spare not. No place for discourage or despair. No shame. No regret. Forget what is behind. Rejoice! The King is coming….. Press on.

Thanks. Worship. Delight. He is everything. He is good!
Who am I? His BELOVED. Who am I? A handmaiden to my King.
Why do I think everything – ministry, influence, voice – needs to be so big? Give thanks in the details, things that seem small and coincidence. Nurture a soft heart – true humility that sees only Him. Practice…..thanksgiving, connecting, trusting.
ONE STEP. NEXT STEP.
Love those in front of me. Let go and let loose. His kingdom, not mine. Don’t force. Slow down. Take the time to trust, to believe….to guard my heart. Slow down – soft heart, delight. Feast….Word of truth! Perfect love. Deep wells of grace.
A poet, a scribe, a wordsmith. A voice of one crying from the midst of a wilderness. Prepare the way. Prepare the way for the King to come in. Fill the valley of despair with buckets of joy! Take down the mountainous range of pride with shovels of worship and surrender.
ONE STEP. NEXT STEP.
No looking away. No looking at others. No looking at self. Only see Him – King and Commander, bridegroom and lover; Savior and protector. Only He is trustworthy. Only He is true.
Who am I? A daughter, a princess, a queen. A warrior, a soldier. A saint. Redeemed, beloved. RENEWED. A fiery one of passionate devotion to her King.
So, King Jesus, Father in heaven, Spirit of holiness…..You are my beginning and my end. You are the Author, writing our story. You are the perfecter, finishing all that requires completion in me. You are life and breath to me. I cling to Your grace and mercy, longing for the fullness of peace in You.
ONE STEP. NEXT STEP.
Into Your presence; into Your purposes; into my freedom, which is only in You. May Your power and glory be evident and manifest within and without.
A believing believer – filled up to the fullness of Your love and pouring forth. A living sacrifice, holy, acceptable – staying in the fire of purifying and purging; cleansed; at peace – IN purpose. A vessel of honor…

DeletePURPOSE IS THE WORD OF THE YEAR!~ The above is the how and the gain of being on your face before His face. love this and how it all gives a way even if it is different than others. Our covenant is with the King of all the earth, heavens and beyond forever. There is so much more that we have seen or ever expect to see! Happy travels friends in HIS great love.
