"It is the glory of God to conceal a matter,
but the glory of kings is to search out a matter."
(Proverbs 25:2)
What a beautiful
picture of a deep and ever-growing relationship between our Father and those
who desire to know Him. As I read this verse, I can sense the yearning,
anticipation, and delight on both sides of this relationship. It is a place of
knowing someone that goes beyond the boundaries of casual head-knowledge, and
into a living understanding that can only come through heart-knowledge. It is
going beyond the surface; what we can see with our natural eyes, hear with our
natural ears, understand with our carnal mind.
Our eternal purpose is not to be our Father’s hired
hands,
but to be His sons and daughters reigning with King Jesus as His bride…
operating
in the Wisdom of Heaven.
Living in
the absolute fulfilling joy of relationship with the One who formed us and
breathed His life into us! Carrying within us the Hope of glory, and the wisdom of Heaven for His creation.
One of the meanings to ‘search out’ in
the verse above
in the Hebrew language is to 'examine intimately'.
It’s as though Father is saying,
“in-to-Me-see”.
What matters have we taken just by the exterior ‘value’, or
because of what has been told to us by another source, instead of searching out
the heart of Father for ourselves? Being led into the deep places of His heart
by His Spirit that lives in us. There is so much more to see and to know as we
walk with Him.
An unlocking...
An unfolding...
An unveiling...
His revealing...
I pray that as we journey into His heart, that the veils are removed from our minds and hearts to clearly see what He wants us to know...the mysteries He longs to share. To KNOW Him above all. To see Him above all. To be in love with Him above all. To be His, above all.

Below are
several matters that came to me concerning going beyond, and digging deeper.
There are more that continue to come to me that aren’t written here. Many of the scriptures referenced overlap with the other 'beyonds' listed on this page. I encourage
you to dig with me into these ‘beyonds’ as you read through the scriptures, and
as Holy Spirit not only brings more scriptures to you, but also shows you other
‘beyonds’ that you can examine
intimately with Him… the honor of kings indeed!
First, a
prayer of surrender…
“Holy Spirit, thank You for teaching
us and leading us into all Truth. Thank You for making known to us the heart of
the Father, the life of the Son, and the realities of the Kingdom that we are
of. Thank You for growing us into His image as we lend ourselves to Your
perfect work. As we surrender all we have ever known or thought we have known
into Your hands, we trust You to show us, to reveal to us, all that we need to
see and to know today. Thank You for showing us how, and empowering us to live
in the ‘beyond’ of great and mighty things that we have not known, to the glory
of our Father and our King.”

Deep calls out to Deep...
~ Tammy ~
I love this, Tammy. Thanks. It's very powerful and exciting to know that the deep in God calls to the deep in us.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Brian, and yes it is! To know that He is the One who has been and is pursuing us...humbly in awe as His waves and breakers wash over us.
